Bastard among other bastards, Ambroise is one of the many illegitimate children of the King of Antiva. He grew up alongside his mother until he was 7 years old. He is taken before the king with his other brothers and sisters of his generation, he is traumatized by the icy look of this father who does not love them. Between exile and the Crows, he chooses to join the Crows, he takes the name of De Riva and meets another half-brother: Viago de Riva. Between frustration and desire to live, Ambroise learns very quickly, however one frustration remains: that of not loving his body and his identity. With the help of other Crows and friends from Treviso, he finds a name for his illness and what he would like to be. He spends the end of his teens struggling to assert his new identity, whether in the way he is spoken or in his appearance, however, not everything is rosy and he is a victim of a rape that will mark him for years. With the help of Alba de Riva, he gains confidence and overcomes trials that he was unable to face alone. One day, on his way home from a mission, he surprises the murder of two fellow Crows by a group of Antaam, taking prisoners with them. He kills each Antaam and releases the prisoners, including two dwarves who sought to meet two specific Crows. Returning to the Casino, Ambroise is scolded as never before by Viago for having prevented a greater intervention against the Antaam, a violent dispute breaks out between them and Viago exile Ambroise, Ordering him to help the two dwarves stop the elf Solas and that he can only come back when this mission is over. After years of operating only in Antiva, Ambroise is happy to discover the outside world even if he pursues a mission that does not delight him. After a year, the events are chained when he searches for Neve Gallus. Other gods are released and he is now the leader of the team. He meets peoples and is reintegrated into the Crows, he even finds love with Bellara (or Alba according to the universe)
